Open
contest is announced within the framework of the Program “Tsodnis Kari” from December 2, 2013 to February 28, 2014
to gain scholarships for educational programs in Art in higher education
institutions abroad for the academic year 2014-2015.
a) Eligible candidate for bachelor degree educational
programs in art in higher education institutions abroad must:
- be a citizen of Georgia, holder
of neutral ID document or a neutral travel document;
- have
high academic performance;
- be a winner of various international and national educational events and
competitions;
- be admitted to one of the priority higher education institutions of art, bachelor educational program.
Those who wish to apply are
required to submit to the Ministry the following documents:
- Application
(an application has to contain title of the contest program, as well as
information on employment status of the applicant and his/her family members);
- ID card/
neutral ID document or/and neutral travel document;
- CV;
- Copies
of general education certificate and a transcript (in case an applicant does
not possess the certificate of general education, he/she may submit a document
proving completion of general education course or a transcript for the last
three grades in case if the previous document is unavailable) certificates;
- Copies
of certificates, diplomas and other documents proving active participation and
success in relevant activities;
- Two
recommendation letters;
- Motivation
letter;
- Amount
and destination of the requested sum of money issued by a higher education
institution (cost estimation with official translation confirmed by Notary
Public); in case of requesting living expenses – a rental contract (with a
translation confirmed by Notary Public);
- Admission
Letter from a higher education institution abroad (with a translation confirmed
by Notary Public);
- Only for music
branch: certificate of completion of education institutions of art apart from
school-type education institutions (except singing and conductor academic
directions).
Preference
will be given to the candidates:
- with high participation in
creative and artistic;
- winner of various
international and national artistic events and competitions;
- are admitted to one of the priority higher education
institutions approved by the
“Commission working on the issues of awarding scholarships to the talented and
distinguished students and young specialists working in the fields of art” at
the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection. Attached see the file:
b) Eligible candidate for master degree educational programs
in art in higher education institutions abroad must:
- be a
citizen of Georgia, holder of neutral ID document or a neutral travel document;
- have a Bachelor degree;
- have admission to higher education institution abroad;
- Age limit: up to 35;
- have a high academic performance.
Those who wish to apply are
required to submit to the Ministry the following documents:
- Application (an application has to
contain title of the contest program, personal data, education, work
experience, amount of money requested);
- ID card/ neutral ID
document or/and neutral travel document;
- Resume;
- Copies of diploma,
and certificates;
- Two professional recommendation
letter;
- Motivation letter;
- Amount and
destination of the requested sum of money issued by a higher education
institution (cost estimation with official translation confirmed; by Notary
Public); in case of requesting living expenses – a rental contract (with a
translation confirmed by Notary Public);
- Admission Letter from
a higher education institution abroad (with a translation confirmed by
Notary Public).

- be a

- have a Bachelor degree;
- have admission to higher education institution abroad;
- have a high academic performance.
Those who wish to apply are
required to submit to the Ministry the following documents:
- Application (an application has to
contain title of the contest program, personal data, education, work
experience, amount of money requested)
- ID card/ neutral ID
document or/and neutral travel document
- CV;
- Copies of diploma,
and certificates;
- Reference letter
issued by employer;
- Professional and academic
recommendation letters;
- Motivation letter;
- Amount and
destination of the requested sum of money issued by a higher education
institution (cost estimation with official translation confirmed by Notary
Public); in case of requesting living expenses – a rental contract (with a
translation confirmed by Notary Public);
- Admission Letter from
a higher education institution abroad (with a translation confirmed by
Notary Public);
- A letter proving
gaining of minimum 50% scholarship.
Preference
will be given to the candidates:
- with high participation in creative and
artistic;
- winner of various international
and national artistic events and competitions
- are admitted to one of the priority higher education
institutions approved by the “Commission working on the
issues of awarding scholarships to the talented and distinguished students and
young specialists working in the fields of art” at the Ministry of Culture and

The contest shall be conducted in two stages: 1. Selection of application.
2. Interview
Distance
interview shall be organized upon the request of an applicant.
Note: Those candidates
who wish to apply for a scholarship for Master and PhD programs and do not have
a diploma for previous academic level are able to submit a document on academic
degree awarding with the condition of submitting copy of diploma by the time of
signing a contract.
Within the framework of the “Program for the Youth Promotion”
for improvement of qualification, eligible young specialists in the fields of
art must :
- be a
citizen of Georgia, holder of neutral ID document or a neutral travel document;
- have a Bachelor degree;
- have a high academic performance.
Those who wish to apply are
required to submit to the Ministry the following documents:
- Application (an application has to
contain title of the contest program, personal data, education, work
experience, amount of money requested);
- ID card/ neutral ID
document or/and neutral travel document;
- Resume;
- Portfolio (works, performing
practice, projects etc);
- Copies of diplomas
and certificates;
- Two professional recommendation
letters;
- Motivation letter;
- Amount and
destination of the requested sum of money (cost estimation with official
translation confirmed by Notary Public);
- Admission Letter on a
professional qualification program abroad (with a translation confirmed by
Notary Public).
