38th session of UNESCO General Conference and sessions of the education are taking place in Paris, in which the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze and the Deputy Minister Giorgi Sharvashidze are participating.

In the course of conference, at the organization's headquarters, a high-level meeting was held with the objective of adoption action plan and agenda by the World Education Forum (May, 2015 Republic of Korea) for the "Education 2030". Education ministers of various countries and high-ranking officials attended the meeting.

Within the framework of the general conference, Tamar Sanikidze delivered the speech and spoke about the main directions, which have been implemented in terms of increasing accessibility to education and inclusive studies in our country. These directions were one of the most important parts in the agenda adopted at the session. After the session, the information provided by Georgian side will be uploaded on UNESCO official web page and it will be available for all the interested persons.

At the 38th session of UNESCO General Conference, an action plan before 2030 was approved, in which all the member countries and off course Georgia as well will be involved. According to Tamar Sanikidze, UNESCO is ready to prodive member states with assistance in implementing very important decisions specifie by the agenda. 

Tamar Sanikidze, together with the ministers from other countries, also took an active part in the event organized by the United States delegation on the topic - Preventing violent extremism in education.
