Within the scope of the Science and Innovation festival, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, in collaboration with the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Science of Germany, organized “Georgia-German Science Day” at Tbilisi State University. During the event a number of issues were discussed, such as reviewing the German and Georgian joint scientific projects, in conjunction with planning the future cooperation prospects. A number of Georgian and International private and public Universities participated in the event, as well as the agencies and funds who are actively involved in the field of science and research.
The event was attended by the delegation from Germany, composed of the representatives of the German Ministry of Education, The German National Science Foundation (DFG), Humboldt (AvH), Volkswagen (VW), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), as well as the high-ranking officals of Leibnitz and Hemlmohtls science associations.
During the event, meetings of bilateral nature were held, where Georgian universities and scientific-research institutions had the opportunity to introduce ongoing Georgian research projects to the German delegation and talk about the joint collaborative projects in the future.
