On July 6, 2024, Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia, officially opened the Anaklia Youth Camp and held a meeting with the young participants.

On July 5, 2024, Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia, and Tornike Rijvadze, the Chairman of the Government of Adjara, toured the construction site of a new educational building at Blacks College in Batumi.

On July 5, 2024, Nodar Papukashvili, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia, inaugurated the second International Excellence School in Georgia, held as part of the I2Q project.

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia has officially launched applications for projects under the Subprogram of the International Educational Olympiad Program.

On July 4, 2024, the Board of Rectors convened at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, led by Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia. Rectors and representatives from both public and private universities across Georgia participated in the meeting.

On July 3, 2024, Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia, visited the 147th Tbilisi Public School on the inaugural day of the Unified National Exams. He personally observed the examination process and wished the entrants success, expressing hope that each would achieve their desired results and continue their studies in higher education.

On July 3, 2024, a crime prevention course for teachers was launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia and the Ministry of Justice. This national initiative aims to equip teachers and school staff with the skills needed to promptly identify and address illegal or concerning behavior among minors.

On January 7, 2024, a culinary competition was organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia at the Icarus base, featuring students from 12 state vocational education institutions.

As of January 7, 2024, examination centers for the upcoming 2024 exams are fully operational. Gela Geladze, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, along with Nino Tsereteli, the Director of the National Assessment and Examinations Center, and Irakli Kuprava, the Director of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency, visited the examination centers to assess the ongoing preparations.

The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, inaugurated the closing ceremony of the extensive youth festival "Studfest 2024," where the winning students were honoured. 

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, together with the Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Giorgi Amilakhvari, met with  Ukrainian students who are resting in a summer camp with the financial support of the Government of Georgia. The head of the government talked to the children and treated them to dinner. 

Owing to the decision of the Government of Georgia, a new mechanism for teachers' remuneration will be implemented from July 1, 2024. 

Upon the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, changes have been implemented in the teacher's professional development and career advancement scheme. 

The Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Nodar Papukashvili hosted the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Malawi, which was headed by the President of the Eastern and Southern Africa Parliamentary Group - Dr. Ben Malunga Phiri. 

During "Young Scientists' Week" organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, a panel discussion titled - "Translating Scientific Research into the Economy: The Example of Georgia" was held at the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.
