The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, has initiated the submission of applications/projects within the scope of “International Educational Olympiad Subprogram”, under the “Successful Students Promotional Program”.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, under the “Successful Students Promotional Program” and within the “National Educational Olympiad subprogram” framework, is pleased to announce a contest for the organization in charge of conducting the Information Technology Olympiad.
Within the scope of the United Nations Development (UNDP) program and the financial support of the European Union, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, together with Kareli Municipality and “Agaris Shaqari” private company, since September 2016, have jointly implemented various Vocational Education courses at public schools of small town Agara.
Within the framework of a trilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Government of Estonia and UNICEF, 29 teachers of 15 pilot schools have attended an official school tour in Estonia.
Within the frameworks of the project “Let’s Learn and Rest Together”, supporting healthy lifestyle among the youth, the mountain-ski sports school is organized in Bakuriani for 450 pupils of the 7th, 8th and 9th grades from the small-contingent schools of Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli and Imereti regions, with the aim of popularization of mountain-ski sports among the pupils.
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and the Head of USAID Mission attended the lessons prepared within the frameworks of Georgia Primary Education (G-PriEd) in Tbilisi №45 Public School.
Tbilisi State University was legally established 100 years ago, on December 15, 1917. In connection with this anniversary date, the event dedicated to restoration of “Georgian University Society” was organized at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The Georgian University Society unites graduates and supporters of Tbilisi State University.
The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement organized the conference “Higher Education Quality Assurance System Reform, Results and Next Steps”.
The cycle of meetings “Listen to Pupils” started to ensure safe and healthy environment with the initiative of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli. Intensive meetings with the pupils, as well as with parents, students and representatives of various communities by the Minister will continue, in order to make the school and the environment, where children grow up, more safe and friendly based on discussion, co-operation and broad public consensus.
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli, US Ambassador to Georgia Ian C. Kelly and Executive Director of Millennium Challenge Account - Georgia Magda Maghradze solemnly opened Akhaltsikhe №1 and Vale №1 Public Schools, which were completely rehabilitated by Millennium Challenge Account.
