Within the framework of the “Science and Innovation Festival” the Ministry of Education and Science and Sokhumi State University organized the scientific conference “Inclusive Education in Higher Education System”. The aim of the conference is to facilitate the implementation, teaching and research issues of inclusive education in higher education institutions of Georgia, as well as the provision of supporting environment for students with special educational needs in higher education institutions.

In cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, trainings of trainers in entrepreneurship in the National Center for Teacher Professional Development have been completed.

The winners of the Joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Ministry of Internal Affairs - “Learn History - Become a Researcher” were awarded. The goal of the project was to take interest of young people except professional researchers with the materials of the latest history of Georgia that are protected in the MIA archive and already available to the public. Also, the development of special skills of pupils and student research skills, critical thinking and development of specific skills of working at source.

An open lesson was held in the new Alexandre Tsintsadze Tbilisi Public School # 150 - “Me and Society”. As it is known, this will be implemented in the III-IV grades according to the National Curriculum of 2018-2024, from 2018-2019 academic years.

The VIII International Scientific Conference on topic “Language Situation in the Caucasus” is held on September 27-29, at St. Andrew the First Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia within the framework of “Festival of Science and Innovation 2017”. The program of the conference is diverse.

The International Festival of Science and Innovation has been opened in Rike Park today. The festival will last from September 24 to October 8 and will offer up to 150 events for all viewers - lectures, seminars, conferences and scientific picnics throughout Georgia.

The aim of the meeting was to strengthen possibilities of social partners in the process of elaboration and implementation of vocational education policy.

Training of trainers in the National Center for Teacher Professional Development is being held in cooperation with Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The training of trainers is held by foreign experts from Germany. Training materials have been developed by the Chamber of Commerce of Bavaria and successfully implemented in different countries.
