A regular meeting of the working group was held for the purpose of elaboration of a unified Strategy and Action plan of the Education and Science of Georgia. At the meeting the initial version of the 2017-2020 Action Plan was presented, which was formed by the involvement of all the structural units of the Ministry. The European experts were involved in the elaboration of the document.
Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Education and Science Aleksandre Jejelava met with Kim In Hans, a temporary trustee of the Korean Embassy in Georgia and introduced current situation in Georgia and future plans in the field of education and science.

Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia carried out rehabilitation in 2013-2016 and other activities in 26 schools of border regions of Zugdidi, Kareli, Gori, Tsalenjikha, Oni and Sachkhere, as well as fully rehabilitated Atotsi Public School.
Applications for the Qualification Raising Program 2017 in the International Center for Education abroad have been completed. 34 applications were submitted within the framework of the program.
