The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Aleksandre Jejelava, together with the Minister of Culture and Monument Protection – Mikheil Giorgadze, visited the innovation pavilion at Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse), and got acquainted with the concept of “Class of Future”.
Within the scope of a small grant project funded by the Millennium Challenge Account– “Vocational education for the economic development”, the Employers Association of Georgia held a presentation regarding the project results.
The first Deputy Minister of Education and Science – Ketevan Natriashvili awarded 24 successful students of 10th grade in Mtskheta Municipality public schools with personal computers.
Owing to the support of the Council of Europe’s Development Bank, with the energy efficiency principle, some 25 public schools will be reconstructed-reinforced in Tbilisi.

German International School, established in 2010, will soon celebrate its new location. The skeleton for the new school and the kindergarten building is already built.

The president of the Kyrgyz Republic – Almazbek Atambaev is having an official visit in Georgia. Within the scope of his visit, the Ministers of Education of Georgia and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan have signed an agreement.
A Rectors Council session was held at the Georgian Technical University, which was opened by the Minister of Education and Science – Aleksandre Jejelava. Additionally, the leaders of the private and public higher education institutions participated in the meeting.
A construction of one the largest public schools is finished in Lambalo, Sagarejo Municipality. As a result, 1000 students will have access to a new, modern school, where all the necessary conditions are created for them.
The process of awarding successful students with the personal computers across Georgia continues. This time, the successful students of 10th grade were awarded in the Sagarejo Municipality.

The President was welcomed at the airport by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Aleksandre Jejelava, the Minister of Foreign Affairs – Mikhail Janelidze, and the head of the Georgian presidential administration – Giorgi Abashishvili.
