In order to increase access to vocational education and employment in the Shida Kartli region, a college of modern standards was built in the city of Kaspi. From the new academic year, the college will offer vocational programs in engineering, construction, agriculture and other required fields.

During her visit to Adjara region, Ekaterine Dgebuadze, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, together with Maia Khajishvili, Minister of Education, Culture and Sport of Adjara together with Ghasan Khalil, UNICEF Representative in Georgia, participated in the opening ceremony of the Children's Rights Centre at Batumi State University. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Norway - Helen Andresen and the Ambassador of Estonia - Riina Kaliurand.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli got acquainted with the sanitary norms developed by the schools for the prevention of the virus at public schools N118 and N208. The minister held a meeting with the school principals and discussed the measures taken by schools to ensure the safety of each student and teacher during the educational process.

Testing has been conducted for the fourth time at Tbilisi Public School No. 100 to reduce the risk virus dissemination.
