Mikheil Batiashvili - Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport congratulated the entrants on the first day of the national exams, wished them success in achieving their goals and expressed hope that the exams for each of them will be completed with the highest result.

The award ceremony of the VIII regional competition participants of the music schools of Georgia was held at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia in conjunction with performing the last concert.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia completed the process of approving the VII grade school textbooks of several subjects and basic level of secondary education.

The two-day summarizing conference of the project "Digital School - Georgia" was held in Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. On the first day of the conference the representatives of various participating schools talked about what digital school represent in reality and how they implemented this idea from the initial stage. On the same day, the poster exhibition was held at the university's open space, where each unveiled their goals, digital vision, strategy, implemented activities and the results received throughout.

A special workshop was held at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, where the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and rectors of higher education institutions of Georgia had the chance to discuss the preparatory issues of the Second Forum of Employment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the graduate students.

According to the order of Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Irma Ratiani, the literary critic, was appointed as director of the "National Foundation for Literature".

On May 28, a special event was organized at the Georgian Art Palace, by the President of Georgia - Salome Zurabishvili and Director of Georgian Art Palace - Giorgi Kalandia to sign a memorandum of cooperation.

On May 26, the events dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia, will be held throughout the whole Georgia, through the unified concept - "Knowledge leads to freedom", the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia is actively represented throughout the country.

Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Mikheil Batiashvili met with Vatican Ambassador to Georgia – the Archbishop Jose Avelino Bettencourt and introduced him with the wide-scale ongoing reforms in the field of education.
