Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari held a meeting with the representatives of Tempus Public Foundation in Budapest. The parties discussed the issues of expanding Hungarian government scholarship program - "Stipendium Hungaricum", enhancing cooperation with the Foundation, and the ways to implement more supportive initiatives for students.

Within the framework of his visit to Brussels, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, held a meeting with the Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Emerging Security Challenges, David van Weel.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, is currently on a working visit to Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium, meeting the EU officials. Within the framework of his visit, Minister Amilakhvari opened the second Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) under the Horizon Europe Association Agreement between EU and Georgia, addressing the JCM participants and he emphasized the importance of Horizon Europe in strengthening and modernizing the science and innovation sector in Georgia.

In his capacity as the Minister of Education and Science – Giorgi Amilakhvari,  has started his first working visit to Brussels. Within the scope of the visit, the Minister held a working meeting with the Director-General of Directorate-General for Research and Development of the European Commission - Marc Lemaitre.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, held an online meeting with the executive director of the Davis Center at Harvard University - Alexandra Vacroux, and the head of the Kartvelology program - Stephen Jones, during which the parties discussed the issues of enhancing the cooperation in terms of further developing the Kartvelology program.
