Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava held the presentation on the TIMSS and PISA international surveys and the results of the state evaluation for the journalists. The surveys conducted in 2015-2016 are related to learning outcomes, dynamics and factors that influence the students’ achievements.

The Board of Directors of public and private schools is set up with new members once in every three months, and new members are elected by the directors themselves. The regular session of the renewed Board was held today, which was traditionally opened by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Aleksandre Jejelava talked about all the important novelties and then the members of the Board presented the issues provided for under the agenda, each of the issues and the ways of their solution were discussed.
