The First Deputy Minister of
Education and Science Mr. Akaki Sepherteladze observed a second round of
National Educational Olympiad at Tbilisi 161 public school.
The
process of improving school infrastructure is underway. According the decision
of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia from the new academic year
130 schoolchildren of Akhalkalaki Public School №3 will continue education
process in the new building.

for Education Quality Enhancement of MES, David Kereselidze visited the charity
organization “Mkurnali”, wished merry Christmas to the youngsters, living there
and presented them with sweets.
Christmas event was held for 200
children from vulnerable families at Tbilisi Art Hall, organized by the
National Center for Teacher Professional Development of MES, with the support
of Nino Ananiashvili Charity Foundation.

Science Foundation of MES, Sulkhan Sisauri visited the oldest academician, Ms. Nino
Javakhishvili and wished her a merry Christmas.

Ministry of Internal Affairs, Khatia Dekanoidze held a summarizing
briefing on
the development of the Resource Officers’ Office.
By the decision of MES,
construction of the new modern school for 200 children is underway in the
village of Melaani, Gurjaani region. One million GEL will be allocated for the
works.
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini
presented 13 years old Giorgi Malazonia with the personal computer and wished
him a happy New Year. Giorgi lives with his foster-mother, Mariam Zaalishvili
in the hard living conditions.

School №10, Ketevan Dolidze at home, wished her happy New Year and
presented with the personal computer.
By the organization of the National Center for
Teacher Professional Development of MES, 10 teachers of math and 5 English
language teachers left for Great Britain
in order to pass the training tour.

Needs of Boarding-School №200 and presented the school with the new
adapted school bus.
