A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and the International Particle Physics Information Group (IPPOG). The document was signed by Minister Mikheil Chkhenkeli and IPPOG Chairmen, Dr. Stephen Goldfarb and Prof. Pedro Abreu.

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli took part in the jubilee event of Center for Law and Economics. At the event, a report on the activities of the first interdisciplinary centre in the field of law and economics, established in partnership with public-private universities, was presented. Also, a presentation was made by the Corporate Law Committee, which comprises of Supreme Court, Appellate and City Court judges and academics.

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli participated in the 17th Annual Round Table of Ministers of Science and Technology within the STS Forum (Science and Technology in Society Forum), where representatives of 35 countries discussed the importance of science and technology in the post-pandemic period.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, according to the decision of the Interagency Council, starting from October 1, I-VI grade students in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, and Zugdidi will resume their studies in classrooms, while the learning process for VII-XII graders will continue remotely.
