The EIC Roadshow pilot event was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency. Freedom of Information Development Institute (IDFI) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the course of drafting one of the reforms has named the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia one of the best institutions to work with and has awarded it with the special honorary certificate.
Giorgi Chakvetadze, a current player at the Georgian national football team and Belgian "Genk", became the best player of the 2018/2019 season. Chakvetadze was named best out of 79 sports journalists participating in the survey. Head of Sport Development Department Irakli Dolaberidze also congratulated Chakvetadze and awarded him with the memorable gift.

During the meeting, the parties touched upon the US Government Support Program in the Education Sector, specifically the USAID's successful cooperation in promoting elementary and civic education in Georgia. The guests expressed full readiness to promote the scope of education reform within the framework of new initiatives. For this purpose, in addition to the US grant funding, two additional new projects will be launched in 2019.
ICT - 3000 specialists will be trained in the field of information and communication technologies. The program is supported by the World Bank and its total budget is 7 million Lari (USD 2.5 million).
