Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini, as entrusted by the Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri, handed over cash prizes with an amount of 2000 GEL to 20 principals of those schools in Tbilisi and regions of Georgia that showed the best results in school graduation exams.

In the frame of the “Einstein Program”, all public schools of Georgia will be furnished with Natural Science Laboratories before beginning of the new academic year. First Deputy Minister Koka Sepherteladze delivered the Natural Science Laboratory to Tbilisi public school №186 and together with the teachers of this school got familiar with the equipments of this laboratory.

Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Agency for Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development under Ministry is constructing a new school in the village of Kvabgha, Chokhatauri. From the next year, the schoolchildren will study in a new, modern school.

Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia reiterates that higher educational institutions are independent legal entities.  According to the Paragraph 1 of the Article 2 of the Law of Georgia on Legal Entity of Public Law, they carry out educational and scientific activities independently and manage their own budget themselves.
