Organized by the Council for European Studies, the first grant competition - Starting Grants - has been announced under Horizon Europe under the European Commission's Research and Innovation Framework Program, with a budget of € 619 million.

Nunu Mitskevichi, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, together with Beka Peradze, Head of the Labor Inspection Department, held a meeting with representatives of Georgian state and private universities and personally introduced them to the decisions of the Interagency Council.

Owing to the decision of the Interagency Council, the practical training component of vocational education institutions will be resumed from March 1, whereas from March 15 onwards, all vocational institutions operating throughout Georgia will be given the opportunity to fully restore their activities and learning process in their auditoriums. However, the choice of vocational schools regarding the format of education is voluntary and they will make a specific decision in consultation with the Ministry.
