Mikheil Chkhenkeli - the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia held an official meeting with the Professor Stephen Michaelson – the Head of Agro Engineering and Biotechnology Department and the Emeritus Professor of Political Sciences – Ardit Mein PhD, of Iowa State University (USA). The Rector of Georgian Technical University – Mr. Archil Prangishvili also attended the meeting.

The Minister congratulated the Minister with the jubilee of 70th anniversary since the creation of the State of Israel. The sides discussed the issue of enhancing the existing of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and particularly in science.

Additionally, Mikheil Chkhenkeli visited the university research centers, where he spoke with the researchers in person.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia in collaboration with Save the Children International Organization - organized a regional conference regarding the development of Inclusive Education Systems. The high level of inclusive education practiced in Georgia over the last few years, has led to the decision of holding such conference in Tbilisi for the first time. The organizers chose Georgia; with a specific reason to learn more about the Georgian experience.

"General Giorgi Kvinitadze - Revived History" - exhibition of this title was held at Shota Rustaveli State Drama Theater, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Georgia's First Democratic Republic.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Mikheil Chkhenkeli, together with the President of the Republic of Lithuania - Dalia Grybauskaite and the rector of Georgian Technical University – Archil Prangishvili, opened a new building for the Center of Lithuanian Literature, Culture and Education.
A 55th anniversary event was held to commemorate the foundation of Kobuleti Public College - “New Wave". Within the event framework, various activities such as info-tours, student workshops and exhibition of vocational courses were held, in conjunction with organizing a conference, where the representatives of multiple international vocational schools had the opportunity to discuss existing and future joint proposals and projects. It is important to note, that the conference participants agreed on several important conclusions.
