The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli held a working meeting with the representative of the American National Strategy (NSI) - Paul Joel.

Students of Tbilisi Classical Gymnasium have been awarded with a first place at the International Ibrahim Arikan’s 27^th Science Competition, held in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has published Georgian language textbooks for the national ethnic minorities.

A new kindergarten building construction, able to accommodate approximately 230 students has been finalized.  The building is in full compliance with modern standards and regulations. “Let's listen to the future and get ready for it" - an international conference was held on the International Day of Hearing. The aim of the conference was to discuss the current issues of hearing impaired-children in Georgia and design corresponding recommendations on how to improve the quality of their learning experience.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli attended the graduation ceremony organized by the students of 12th grade at Tbilisi Public School N150 and congratulated all the students with the end of their studies and wished them all the success in their future endeavors.

First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Ketevan Natriashvili attended the Job Forum held at Gldani Vocational Training Center. Approximately 20 private companies and 500 applicants of Gldani district were present at the forum.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli discussed the prospects of further cooperation with the representatives of Peace Corps in Georgia.

The National Center for Teacher Professional Development, with the support of the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) and the Senor Expert Service (SES), commenced the retraining procedure for the teachers of vocational education institutions. Leading German specialists in the field will train more than 100 teachers across Georgia.
