In the scope of the campaign “Plant a Tree, Make Tbilisi Green”, Resource Officers planted trees in 4 Public Schools of Tbilisi together with the schoolchildren. Cypress and cedars were planted in the public schools №151, №147, №186 and №187. At the same time the schoolchildren and Resources Officers planted some trees in Kutaisi as well.

Tbilisi City Hall with support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is implementing the project “Let’s Read Books”.  In the scope of the project the students of Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University read literature together with schoolchildren of 4th and 5th grades at public libraries of Tbilisi.

First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze observed the proceeding of public schools’ principals Contest.  Ministry’s National Center for Teacher Professional Development will administer this contest till April 4. Up to 3000 candidates from Tbilisi and regions will participate in it.
