Minister of Education and Science
of Georgia and Deputy Ministries continue to pay visits to the professional
colleges throughout Georgia. This time, Deputy Minister Irine Kurdadze visited
Khidistavi Professional College in Gori.

the educational program “Teach and Learn with Georgia”. A new group of teachers
arrived from the USA, Canada, England, Philippines and Germany.
The First Deputy Minister of
Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze opened the Fifth
International Olympiad at Georgian Technical University. The International
Olympiad is held in programming. The Olympiad is dedicated to Ilia Vekua,
well-known mathematician and public figure of Georgia.
The Minister of Education and
Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini opened the international conference on
Natural Sciences. The conference was organized by the School-Lyceum
“Mtsignobartukhutsesi” with the support of the Ministry. The event was attended
by the scientists of the field.
Representatives of the National
Curriculum and Assessment Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of
Georgia visited Shuapkho public school in Dusheti. This is one of those schools
that are supervised by the Center.
Ministry of Education
and Science of Georgia, National Center for Education Quality Enhancement under
the Ministry and GIZ jointly organized a conference on professional education.

By the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of
Georgia and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, a new subject “Traffic
Signs and Road Safety” will be introduced at general educational institutions
from the next academic year.

time, model lesson in Mathematics was organized for the schoolchildren
of Kutaisi Andria Razmadze Physical- Mathematical School. The lesson was
attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia
Irine Kurdadze and the Deputy Governor of Imereti Region Giorgi
Shushania.
National Center for Teacher Professional Development under the Ministry
of Education and Science of Georgia organized the conference in the
scope of the program “Teach for Georgia”. The Deputy Minister Nodar
Surguladze attended the conference.
