The project initiated by the Ministry of Education and science of Georgia – ‘’English Language Summer School in Georgia’’ finished successfully. The project took place in Tskneti, on the base of Buckswood International school -Tbilisi and lasted for three months.

12 successful students, winners of school Olympiads and many other competitions, arrived from the Great Britain. They did two weeks long English language intensive course at Heisting (England) English Language Summer School.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science are getting acquainted with preparation process for the new academic year in the region. This time, several schools of Telavi were visited by the first deputy minister-Qetevan Natriashvili and the deputy minister-Lia Gigauri in order to get introduced the textbooks for the pupils to be transferred.
By the new academic year, almost 1200 students of Tbilisi #151 public school will have renovated gym with the modern facilities. Renovation has been done with the school halls, conference room, and the library. For the students with the special needs has been built the universally designed pavements, and the adapted gym.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia within the cooperation with Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia is planning to establish Industrial Innovation laboratories (FABLAB) throughout the community colleges. Another workshop was held on this topic.
The preparation for the new academic year is in its active phase. In most of the public schools infrastructural projects are underway. Basically, current guidance books sorting is completed and along with the new academic year all pupils here as well as in other public schools will receive a full package of textbooks.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia determined deadlines for First-graders registration from April 23, 2015 to July 11, 2015 for 2015-2016 academic years. The registration was divided in 3 stages and nowadays 46600 first-graders are registered in public and private schools of Tbilisi.

103th school in numerous Metromsheni settlement is being built. The Tbilisi city hall is building a new school designed for 1000 students instead of the demolished old one.
