The Minister of Education and Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli hosted the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia, Cristian Urse.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli together with the Advisor to the Prime Minister Sozar Subari and the Head of the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Agency, Davit Partsvania visited the construction process of the public school in the village of Tsvirmi in Mestia Municipality.
In parallel to resuming the educational process at vocational education institutions, the Teacher's House has resumed its meetings and trainings with vocational education teachers.

Owing to the decree issued by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, the terms of the fourth stage of registration of first graders at public schools for the 2020-2021 academic year have been changed. As a result, instead of August 20, Phase IV of the first-grader registration will begin on July 13 and come to an end on August 31.
To increase the access to vocational education, a brand-new vocational college will be opened in Tskaltubo Municipality. Construction of the college is at an early stage currently.
Efendi Villa, a non-governmental organization operating in Georgia, was named among the 11 winners of the Council of Europe and European Commission joint competition "European Heritage Days".

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Levan Kharatishvili, participated in the opening of the conference and addressed the participants.
The Unified National Examinations 2020 continue. Today, entrants still tackle the Georgian language and literature exam throughout Georgia.
